I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Buddhists that burned "witches" in Salem, or led the Crusades. Look inward before you cast "Satan" on someone else.

When Jesus was alledged to have been born, Buddhism was at its institutional zenith...and had spread to Kashmir. Buddhism was the first spiritual practice to go beyond its borders and is a TRUE lineage unlike these others who invent a lineage ( masonry, christianity..).

My dear brother, sorry about my comment..
......The things is, you have added a part of Hindi love songs into this invaluable Dhamma talk.

I'm agnostic, and I actually found this interesting. May we learn from Budha/reasoning.

I read that Buddhism doesn't believe in a bodiless self, or soul, so coming back as an animal is more symbolic of the effects of your karma; you don't "hop" from one body to the other; I hope this helps
Buddhism teaches that life, reality and time is an illusion! Too much meditation and unable to comprehend and accept the terrible injustice and suffering in the world has Buddha wishing it was an illusion, and of course incense inhaling can really mess a person up not to mention demons that come when they pray to and worship the dead. Satan the lord of illusion and fools!

Dear Funnnn
Buddhism does not teach that life is an illusion, it teaches that it is an impersonal flow of events with no personal self.
Yes there is suffering but the Buddha taught that through his teaching you could learn the CESSATION of suffering through the giving up of the craving mind. Once one no longer needs things to occur in a specific way there is no more suffering.
Also Buddhists don't pray -they pay respect. And Satan is Christian and not Buddhist.
Be Happy and have Fuuuun!

You let go of unwholesome thoughts and take lovingkindness or the breath as your object of meditation. You replace unwholesome thoughts and tensions with positive "emotions". Thus you purify the mind and eliminate the negative and gradually, as the mind calms, see how this whole thing works. May you be happy and do keep asking questions- The Buddha said to not believe anything but to judge something for yourself. David
