  • @liberalinthedesertaz Your right. It's a shame I was mis-informed, thanks for clearing that up.

  • @alandon I never saw the plant. They kept showing a small one. It might be A. americana but it might have been another species. A.deserti for instance can get bloom stalks to almost 30 feet tall and are much smaller plants.

  • @WIEIED probably not. I believe that the species they make tequila out of they chop the bloom spikes off and they can survive it.. but I am not expert.

  • @alandon well if you take care of them it might bloom.

  • @ecuna yes, and it's pretty tasty and is a good substitute for syrup, or sugar(like in coffee/tea)

  • @ForgivenR it depends on the species.

  • @guest2424 not always. Most of the time in the desert once it starts the blooming process it's better to let it go, because the plant stores all the sugars and starches to create the bloom stalk. Cutting it off won't keep the plant from dying.

  • @b3lowzro how do you know? They never showed the plant.

  • @hrbear that is wrong. it might or might not make pups(clones of the plant) some species if the flowers aren't polinated will create bublils which are little clones of the mother plant.

  • @hrbear I never saw the plant, it might not be A. americana.
