June 3, 2006 world premier performance at Kansas City's White Recital Hall by Elizabeth Suh Lane (1st Violin and Artistic Director of Bach Aria Soloists in Kansas City) and Elizabeth Koeppen (Principal Dancer and Assistant Director of the David Parsons Dance Company in New York City). The two Elizabeths collaborated to create "Accompagnata, a ViolinDance" to Solo violin selections from Bach's monumental masterpiece, "Six Sonatas and Partitas for Unaccompanied Violin".

  • Wow! Modern interpretive dance combined with Bach! Indeed, Bach would enjoy this. That is a CERTAINTY! Very artistic!!! Isadora Duncan, eat your heart out! Bourgeois people pretending to be more sophisticated than they actually are who decide to purchase tickets would be very happy to smile and chuckle at such a thing! Lovely! Oh dear me! Yes, what IF the dancer "bumps" the violinist? What a fascinating question!!! Will she be able to "recover"???!!! I am smiling. I am chuckling. Tee hee! Yay!!!
