  • Wow that`s ace :) You can see why they called it so. Is this a snake of yours? I wonder if sea snakes, underwater snakes in general still need to shed thier skin? I suppose they would.... Very interesting ! I get my Malagasy tomorrow :)

  • @feebix Yep, he's mine. I just got him today. They do shed their skin. Not sure if it all comes off in one piece like other snakes. Will be neat to find out though.

  • I never seen this snake. Thank you. Is it in a terrarium?

  • @jctrock Thanks! He's in a 20 gallon long tank. Right now he's a little under 12" but they can grow up to 6 feet so he will need a larger tank eventually.

  • are they hard to keep alive???? please respond

  • @nicoli669 yeah lol I have an extra aquarium, I made on half water with a ledge and the other is bigger and has a heat pad and a black light so they don't have to adjust really, that they have designated sink bath times lol and I have a pond with fish for them to eat and a pool in the summer time (me and my balls are budds, and I get them high lol)

  • @daemonsterr245 Ball Python's are specifically a land based snake and they live in the jungles of Africa. to try to make them adapt to water is like taking a fish out of water trying to force IT to adapt it won't survive. but they do enjoy bathing occasionally in the bath tub just not 24/7

  • can you adapt a ball python to water, what do you feed water snakes? I have a couple of extra aquariums and a pond with goldfish that's why I ask. What do they do when there not in water?

  • He's ugly but so nice.

  • He's brilliant. Are those fish his lunch?

  • Awesome snake! Not very common at all.

  • Beautiful!! I have always loved these guys.

  • where can i get one
