America's controversial use of its drones in Asia may have caused overwhelming anger, but now it's threatening to do the same at home. Washington's key spying weapon in overseas operations is becoming a common tool for U.S. police, stirring up privacy concerns among more and more Americans.

  • Enemy Advanced UAV is up, shoot it down!

  • So why not sue police for having police helicopters too?

and are these so call analysts so stupid that they neglected to calculate the cost of operating a police chopper vs an unmanned drone?

  • where is that eye spy..i'l show my ass

  • yea, well, what they see would not, and should not be considered, "plan view", be we know it will happen. We all know these testosterone junkies will use it in ways not intended. They will be flying it around peeping into windows, trying to be the coolest by getting the best pics. And all this will be tucked neatly away behind the code of silence, that is the unethical hallmark of police across the country.

  • These drones are essential.

  • ahtung sionizm

  • Were all terrorist now, You have no rights and under the patriot act American citizens can be targeted for assasination without trial even in our own homes.

  • @AndroidHax0r I would love to walk around naked outside. Whats wrong with that. Anyway again Helicopters are a good point, but again I think we have way too many laws. End the drug war and alot of the problems go away in regards to police activity.

  • @JohnWroclaw The government flying a UAS shouldn't be considered spying. I don't see people complaining about Police Helicopters, so whats different about a UAS? I don't see why people think that one flying over is spying. You shouldn't expect privacy when you're outside of your home. You don't walk around outside naked do you? No, because you know you're out in the view of the public and there is no privacy. Maybe if these UAS could see through homes and clothing it would be another story.
