What I loved about Paris was that nothing I ate was too salty or sweet. Even the pastries that look so sweet were "just right" and just delicious. What's more, we didn't gain even an ounce after 9 days of eating. Sure we walked a lot, but we also took the Metro and sat a lot too! I think French food is just more pure, less bad additives, smaller portions, etc.

As someone else says, can you taste this video? I am so envious of not having a shop like this local to me. I love hand made pastry/cakes, nothing too fancy or creamy. We had one I could drive to some years back, but I can't drive now, I am epileptic, and watching these cakes and patisseries go past the lens makes them fell very moorish!
