I can't believe I finally found this! I watched it such a long time ago when I was a kid, and all I could remember was bits of what happened, but not the name. So it took awhile to find! Wow! Beautiful. Authentic style, unlike typical Japanese animation that features exagerated huge eyes. The characters have slanted eyes, truthful representation of Chinese. I can't believe the communist government tried to kill Chinese animation industry during the cultural revolution. If only they let it flourish.

I am glad that you use an eye slantometer to gauge the quality of an animation.

I love Little Nezha as much as the next guy, but no, this is not a truthful representation of Chinese and is easily as displaced from reality as 'exaggerated huge eyes'.
