Recorded July 23, 2008, during "Ninoska en Mambi" radio program (3pm-4pm), airing on Radio Mambi (WAQI 710AM).
During the 2008 Presidential campaign, Ninoska Perez-Castellon, radio host on Radio Mambi, says that she has the right to know about "the most private" details of Barack Obama's life. According to Perez-Castellon, this right to know (or scrutinize over) private details of public figures is part of our democracy in the US.

"I have the right to ask anything I want about that man. I have the right to probe. I have the right to find out if that birth certificate is false or not. I have the right to know the most private things about the life of that man."
"It is the right we all have as voters, in a democracy, to ask, to demand, to want to know. [And] that a candidate has to subject oneself to scrutiny because that is precisely what democracy is."
