Classic Game Room Alternate Cut TEMPEST 2000 Atari review

Classic Game Room season 1, ALTERNATE CUT never before seen top secret review of Tempest 2000 for the Atari Jaguar video game console. The Classic Game Room recorded this episode twice because they wanted to make a 50th episode special instead of the standard gaming review. This episode is re-cut with the original footage that was recorded before the beach footage.

It's the future in 2K with Meltovision graphics. The Atari Jaguar video game console is considered the Ford Edsel of gaming consoles, yet Tempest is a tremendous arcade old school retro classic and this updated version of the game is surprisingly good. This isn't Atari 2600, 5200 or 7800... this is JAGUAR!! Tempest can now be enjoyed on the Xbox 360 with Xbox Live Arcade XBLA. It is not on PS3 or Wii yet that we know of.

Classic Game Room reviewed Atari, NES, Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast and Playstation... too bad they didn't get to Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 or Wii. Now Classic Game Room HD is covering the new systems.

Kissa-my-assa-ninja? LOL Great line from Dave! That review was a riot in itself. As for this clip I think this is my one of my favorite things about the "rebirth" of the game room (and of course the new HD series with new reviews). I LOVE the secret/behind the scenes stuff. Maybe a snoozefest to the newer viewers? But as a fan since it was new in 99 I just LOVE it. My hats off to Mark for reviving the series, I as a huge fan couldn't be happier and I really enjoy all the new goodies! Thanks! :)

@catclaw357 actually if you look closely enough, those 3 people were put through a series of tests designed to give them better taste. they've gone from dreams within dreams all the way to the mountains of space.

and have finally reconsidered and pressed like. that's why we're at 53
