It is a sub set of SOFTWARE with 1 & 0 where computers can read them in machine code! This COMPUTER SOFTWARE contain GAMEPLAY, which allowed USER INPUTS & INTERACTIONS with DISPLAY on SCREEN! With this GAMEPLAY, it had GAME PHYSICS ENGINE, TEXTURE (polygon or spirit) FILES, AUDIO FILES, UI, AI, & ETC that made up this GAMING MEDIUM!! >=)

Art can be anything. Paint can be used to give something a color, or it can be used to draw a painting. Videogames can be just mere entertainment, or they can be art. And who says an arty game can't be entertainment? You need to rephrase your definition of art. Art isn't just the elitist stuff that hangs in dusty museums off white walls with a rope fence around it. . Ico and Shadow of the Collosus are pretty much, art.

@IronJackalTw Certainly everyone is an artist to a different degree. True, video games are a form of entertainment, especially more so in older games, but in recent years, the market has demanded the use of artists, designers, and musicians to increase the moral and emotional value conveyed in video games. A movie, a painting, or a song can provoke an emotional response, so can video games, because they use all three elements with interactive value.
