how did you stay awake during the interview? and does coffee help at all?

You're my hero man.

he seems like a very lovely man, sad he has tis promblem but he can;t help that
-
There are many testimonials of people using Medical Marijuana (sativa strain to help stay awake, and Indica strain to give a deep quality sleep at night, since many narcoleptic people are having trouble getting the quality sleep at night)

shouldnt the carer walk down the stairs in front of him ?
might save his life

I have hashimoto's hypothyroid and I had the same feelings before I was diagnosed (I still struggle with them even though I have a diagnosis)-I'm lazy, stupid, a slob. I don't fall asleep like you, but I'm weak and tired day in, day out. Good for you getting out and about-it's inspiring.

wow i wasnt expecting that fall at 1:40. i thought he said he could feel the sleep approaching and it took at least 30 seconds to fall asleep

I couldn't imagine having something like this. What you are living through makes you a strong man. I wish you luck, and maybe there will be a cure one day. And it hurt to see you suddenly fall asleep during your interview part ;___;
What about using adrenaline, would it make a short term difference?

I also suffer from narcolepesy and cataplexy. My symptoms are greatly reduced by the medications I take regularly, enough so that I'm able to lead a "normal" life. Are you able to take medicine to help with the symptoms?

I am on meds but there is no way they stop my narcolepsy or cataplexy. But my life is a lot better for taking them. Thanks for your text.

at 1:40 you fell asleep (presumably from cataplexy, becuase you had a smirk on your face) but you finished the words you were saying. was it just because you weren't asleep yet or do you sometimes 'automatically' finish the words that are formed in your brain?

Hi and thanks for writing in. At the 1:40 mark I was crashing because of cataplexy, because I was feeling excited by a thought. I managed to finish my words because I was still awake. I don't finish my words automatically.
