it's not scary that she is an airhead, what's scary is that there are masses of morons out there that think she is competent enough to rule the free world!!!! poor guy i really like him but he is clueless.
In 2006, when global warming was first becoming a serious media issue, the Stern report announced the cost of global warming would be 9 trillion. Agriculture would suffer, the spread of disease will take greater costs, infrastructure and developmant will slow, economic growth will decrease by 20%
1 trillion profit is insignificant, and the cost of the product would only add to the problem.
Reducing demand for energy would result in less consumption, so cheaper fuel as demand lessens.
Energy is a good thing, but the cost of production is too high. It takes a greater toll on our environment. Even the ecological and aesthetic cost of damaging our planet were not enough, the cost of that 1 Trillion dollars of oil would be enormous.
There would the mining, transport, refining, usage, waste, pollution, release of carcinogens and consumption of materials.
The destruction of the end product, likely fuel for cars, ships, planes and transport, must also be considered.
Who says that? Why do you want to keep people from growing and developing their resources. Energy can come from many sources. Why do you want to limit one of them?
Electricity can be made from many sources including a stationary bike. I suggest that is what you start using because if in 4 years you all haven't figured this out, we Alaskans will be back down there to get you back on track.
There is over a trillion dollars worth of energy in ANWR. That would pay for your health insurance
Oil Pipeline is a bade idea. You should cut down dependancy on foreign oil by reducing demand for oil.
Do you think that using the finite resources is a long term strategy? Drill America Now, Increase oil demand, run out of oil. Back at square 1, without any alternatives and lost yourself precious time.
What are you going on about electricity for? Electricity is not generated by oil, it's from coal. There is an abundance of coal. Oil is necessary for petrol and plastics, not electricty.
Exactly, which at that point in time makes her the 3rd senator and Spiro Agnew, bless his heart and bones, was the tie breaker in building the Alaska pipeline. He was Alaska's Third Senator at that point.
The fact that you need certain conditions to create the circumstances to have the 3rd Senator interaction take place does not mean she would not be the 3rd senator. It means that if the circumstance occurs, she will be the 3rd senator from Alaska.
You need energy, your inner cites will start to crumble without it. You need wood for repair, you need better electrical grids. Who better than an Alaskan which was the state that helped all of you in the last oil embargo of 1972!
You need food yet you let someone continue a failed ethanol policy as you make it more expensive for Mexican to the point they feel like it is better to jump the border than to come in legally as employees hire them under the table.

PS I looked up the Stern Review, but it has its detractors also. Eedobee, you do not have to worry about this. Trust me on this.

Who are you going to believe? Him or me, eedobee!
Send me something on this Stern report. I will let you know the truth about it.

It is oozing out of the ground over in ANWR and it is harder to find over in NPRA.
You are going to burn the 1 Trillion USD anyway so you might as well put your people to work doing it.
Clean up after yourselves. What a concept! Set up the fund at the beginning to make sure it is cleaned up.
It is that Simple

But why worry about that now.
