@pgh5002 Well, you certainly make some good points and I should probably give D-Ware a little more credit. However, I still feel that a successful 4-3 D-end is much more impressive, such as a Trent Cole (I'm an Eagles fan) or a Julius Peppers.

@TheMikeyG13 Ware is a DE/OLB only the Cowboys base is 3-4 they are almost always in nickle packages which is a 4-3 front the majority of the time. A lot of the games Ware is playing defensive end. This is a trend that has grown since his rookie season and has become more comfortable in his "roles". and trust me Ware doesn't have the element of suprise they constantly chip block with RB's and double team with the TE and LT and sometimes both at the same time...they know he is coming

3-4 OLB are the most overrated players in the NFL. No doubt DeMarcus Ware is a GREAT player but he is not the best. The 3-4 is designed to confuse the O-line and get favorable matchups, or sometimes even free releases. I honestly don't know much about D-Ware's numbers other than sacks, but I would assume sacks are by far his best stat and sack numbers are much more impressive coming from a D-end who has no element of suprise or fancy play design, they just beat the tackle straight up.
