@lilnicky492 At the time, Mario Party 1 was a pretty original idea. As the Mario Party series goes on, the quality degrades over time for 2 reasons: First, they add unwanted/unneeded gameplay elements to the "board game" portion of the game. Those things weren't needed to make Mario Party 1 fun.

Second, the minigames themselves. In Mario Party 1, pretty much ALL of the minigames are fun to play. They feel more watered down in later titles. Remaking THIS game is different from another MP title.
