I have been working at the same place for a year and a half and have very happy clients, but every once in a while I will have a muscular man come in and say he liked the massage but wanted it to be a deeper massage. I have taken deep tissue classes, but maybe you can offer me some advice on how to use my body mechanics better for deep tissue or anything at this point would be helpful, that seems to be the most difficult for me.

Thank you in advance
Karen

  • great tips! thank you my friend:)

  • Great ideas. There are many modalities and techniques to try. Remember to protect your self from injury by using good mechanics. Barefoot Deep Tissue is another option, that I have offered my clients (97 to +300lbs) free for 15 minutes, and so far only one has switched back. Just remember- listen to the client and if they want to lighten up, ease off.

  • Thank you so so much for your response and so quickly too. I think that it will help me very much. Also I find your video's on youtube very helpful. I too look at the human body during massage as an art form. Again thank you.
