It would be wise to be wary of HTC - their products have power circuitry defects that surface after some time. And worse, this firm culture does not do recalls of defective products - instead they flog their defective products and flush their channel inventory on unsuspecting consumers.

I know it has been a while, but I just posted a new video of the Android HTC Sense UI build running on my HTC Touch. You can find the video in the video responses at the top or just view my videos by clicking on my name. It was filmed with my new video camera, so it should look much better, and I decided to brave the flames of the internet and actually speak in this one. Hope you guys like it and will head over to the xda-developer forums and check it out. Props to its creators as always!

Go to google and search for xda-developers and click on that site, then go to forums, then vogue/vogue and you should find the thread with links to download the newest versions of android for the vogue(htc touch cdma). This is quite an old build now, so ill try to film the newest build with my new camera.

Well, evidently you can add waterproof to the list of the touch's abilities. I went swimming with it in my pocket on the 4th and when I got out of the water and sat down I noticed I had it on me because it stared vibrating trying to turn on. I took out the battery and let it sit for 2 days and voila! It still works fine. I ended up upgrading to the spectacular lil palm pre, but this phone will always have a place in my geeky heart.
