A little bit of diversification Into another leg of the survival triangle. Going to start a practical garden and get some much needed experience in this subject. I comfortable enough on the defense side, now its time to work on other skills needed for family preparedness. Might even save a buck or two...

  • Those weeds on your pile look like miners lettuce. It is nutritrious and taste good. Foraging is much less work than gardening. I don`t bother with gardening instead I study wild edibles. Any where I go I can usally find edible weeds and trees. The more you know the less you have to carry in your pack. Of course you can`t forage things like water melon and tomatoes. Thank you for taking the time to make your videos. My VX7R should be coming soon with mods very happy take care.

  • @camokbear1 Good to hear your VX7R is squared away.. I'll look up the miners lettuce, I have tons of them growing around here, I'm in the central valley sierra foothills so its possibly the same environment you are in northern sierra country. I have two little girls, so I want to keep foraging to a minimum until they get old enough to handle their own. take care..

  • UUUUUUUUUUGH!!! you have all this green grass layin around and im in minnesota!!!!!!!!!!! Getting twelve more inches of snow this coming week. I AM SO JEALOUS!!!

  • @13mschen The grass is not necessarily greener here int the sheeples republic of Kaliforniastan, you could at least purchase mags of 10 rounds or more capacity. You have better personal freedoms there than here too. Nahh, I'm not moving, change from within, I say. Take care in Minnesota...

  • LOL I love your first harvest! I need to know what you put in your compost to get your harvest. I think we ate $3 tomatoes from our first garden because we did so much wrong and had such a small harvest. But you have to get your hands brown in order to get a green thumb. Best of luck on your garden this year.

  • @GUERRILLAGEEK yeah we cant really change from within to a tropical climate lol

  • haha
