Please review the two previous videos in which I discuss symbols. The first displays two of them. The second is the most recent previous video, in which Elly and I together discuss our successes.
This video shows 5 examples of our symbols, displayed in a new format. I have always found It bothers me to look directly at any powerful symbol. Perhaps that is why they are so seldom seen in public. It feels confusing; it is disorienting. Previously I responded to this by putting some other pattern behind it. I have mentioned this before. I call the background pattern a connector. More recently I have experimented with a second approach. There is no background pattern. Instead the symbol and its outline are displayed together, side-by-side.The right display shows the symbol in full color without a border. The left display shows only its outline. I fell comfortable viewing the symbols in this way. I feel no need for a background. I also feel a lot of power. There are a large number of videos that both my wife and I used to return to frequently, when we were using connectors. Now, with the side-by-side display, we find that we experience it once in a powerful fashion, and we are finished. Perhaps we returned to them in the past because we kept hoping they would complete the job, and they never quite finished. In this new format, the symbols are able to complete their task more satisfactorily.
I find the body is much more particular about accuracy, when the symbols are displayed in this way. In particular, it does not react at all if there are minor errors which previously were tolerated. I take this as an indication that the new method gets closer to the truth. In particular, the outline must completely contain the colored figure without any crowding. That is, the line that does the outlining must only touch, not overwrite the colored figure. This is an unusual requirement for Inkscape, the drawing program I use. If anyone is aware of a drawing program that is designed to satisfy this requirement, i would appreciate that information.
