The Peace Group was arguably the greatest pop band you've never heard of. Lenny Daddona, their principle songwriter, is now a married father of five. But in the mid-to-late eighties he composed wonderfully memorable tunes. The Peace Group's first and only professionally recorded album "Cigs" was never commercially released.
Cut to present day: Lenny's first born daughter is Boston University student Kaitlin Daddona, and her boyfriend is aspiring director Zachary Smith. As a gift to Lenny and his wife Randee (Kaitlin's mother) for Christmas 2011, they decided to film an amateur music video for their favorite track on "Cigs," the two-song set "Our Eyes/Ways Like You" which opens the album.
This is the end result. Shot with no budget in Boston over scattered days whenever friends had time to spare, the "Our Eyes/Ways Like You" music video marks a new era for The Peace Group. Their music may finally receive attention from their biggest audience yet, so any support and positive feedback will only aid them in getting the word out!
