Que fiato tenía Kraus, hacía lo que le daba la gana. Gruberova es estupenda pero aquí recarga demasiado la interpretación y le da demasiada intención cuando es más sencilla que otras pero es una gran soprano.

Perfetto accordo tra il MAESTRO e l'ALLIEVA! Kraus, il più grande tenore lirico-leggero dell'ultimo trentennio del '900 e Gruberova, la più grande soprano lirico-leggera di oggi!

it is a great recording - she does not have much colour, and no 'character' on lower notes, but than nobody's pefrect (there was only one Moffo, if i may say) but at least she does not say " maw que mowmowha", and does not sound as singing a diffrent recording, two of a few things one often hears nowdays... of course she has nor vice than Dessay - she is a real opera singer, not a modern opera star

mira vos Kraus cantando edgardo y la edita cantando ZERBINETTA, llenando de portamentos el estilo del belcanto ,ensuciando con portamentos y desafinaciones un repertorio que nunca pudo entender, puesto que no solo es hacer sobeagudos ni coloratura al estilo straussiano ...para oir una lucia en estilo esta la sutherland,sills,callas,gencer y la lista es larga....

Very fine, both of them and I heard her do it in Chicago in 86, same year with Shicoff both in terrific voice. She had more voice then Dessay and I enjoyed her more in the in the role, Dessay can act but Gruberova had great top and the voice had heft besides and a good point.
