If your fondant is really hard but not dried out can you put it in the microwave?

You can do that, yes...but be careful with how long you're putting it on...start with 5 seconds.

I was wondering where you buy your fondant and does the fondant you buy taste good?

you can get fondant from a variety of places...michael's craft store, hobby lobby, joann's are all places i used to purchase it before we needed to buy it wholesale. certain brands taste better than others, so you just have to experiment until you find one that you like.

Yes, you can definitely make fondant of your own. The reason we don't is just because we go through too much of it in our business to keep up. It is quite time consuming. It is on our list of request videos from viewers, so we will definitely get one up soon! Thanks for asking.

Most of the time it is because it is too warm inside the holder. If I'm using those holders, I always put the cupcake in the fridge right away, or the same thing happens to me. Sometimes, the combination of moisture from the icing causes the fondant to soften, but I find keeping everything cool helps the best.

nice tutorial! I had trouble with my fondant accents melting when I put my cupcakes in a plastic clamshell. Do you know why this happened?
