RUSH HD presents THE THIN LINE: Life on the Edge, an exhilarating hi-def documentary exploring downhill skiing -- the original extreme sport. Commissioned by RUSH HD from Jalbert Productions, the official production company of the U.S. Ski Team, this beautifully shot, adrenaline-fueled 90-minute film paints a picture of the people and places that have made this alpine discipline one of the world's most dangerous and thrilling sports. Featuring historical and contemporary stories along with stunning POV footage, THE THIN LINE: Life on the Edge includes in-depth interviews with top downhillers such as decorated Americans Bode Miller, Daron Rahlves and Picabo Street, legendary Austrian daredevil Franz Klammer and many more. The World Premiere of THE THIN LINE: Life on the Edge airs on Saturday. December 15 at 10:30pm ET/7:30pm PT/9:30C, on RUSH HD, and will air in the breathtaking clarity of high definition and 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound. (TV-PG)

  • This is what I telll my 10 years old daughters :

If You didn't fall... You haven't being skiing!

  • You are lucky to make it down.

  • Bode Miller is the legend!!

  • 0:14 HE BE SHITTIN

  • I am and therefore I ski

  • Where can i find this film?!

  • 2 words. Bode Miller.

  • @roadrunnerblink Downhill is almost 80% about the line you take. If your a stronger/technically better skier you can ski a faster more aggressive line.

  • @roadrunnerblink In skiing, women are naturally better technical skiers because not many have the strength that the men do, and men make up for their technical disadvantage by their brute strength, that is why there is a mens and a womens DH. 'Surely gravity is the same for everyone' DH, is not all about gravity, its about how you flex and the ski in the turn, the more you flex the ski during the turn, the more it pushes back, and the more speed you get at the end of the turn = YOU WIN :)

  • @roadrunnerblink Plenty of reasons - weight and strength mostly. These two have a huge impact on the outcome.
