Wow... the finish is more incredible in person. Just bought this baby, so I wanted to test it out.

What would be better for heavy metal : the hellraiser avenger or the blackjack atx avenger?

@wolf9013 You can use any guitar for heavy metal, really. I haven't played a Blackjack ATX before, so I can't really give an opinion on that guitar. Pick a guitar you really like and try it out. Metal doesn't have to be played on a Jackson, Schecter, or BC Rich, like a lot of people think. Fender Strats can be just as heavy as any "metal-looking" guitar with the right amp setting and pickups.

@ihatebobsaget1989 I don't know about that. They were fine with my guitar and the dozens of guitarists I'm friends with that use that combo don't have any complaints.

@FilthySICness13 ive always used diadarios with my schecter damien elite accept one set which i had ernie balls. i must say i prefer the diadarios

Oh I was able to get me a Dunlop D-38 Flambe strap, works alot better now I got the blue flames. :] They never had the blue or red flames or the longest time and now they have those two colors. Before I was always getting the orange/yellow flames. And I absolutely love my Damien Elite Avenger FR guitar. Perfect for hard rock or metal and drop d sounds completely sexy with the active pickups. (Drop d-e). It still has the crap d'addarrio strings though. I don't like those strings.

@jedimastergarcia87 i was planning the same, but i got my damien elite, its a my favourite guitar to play. u'll enjoy it for hard rock/ heavy metal.

p.s if u havnt already got a leather strap i would advise gettin 1, its a heavy guitar
