power to weight ratio.

On a harley you will never come out on the positive side of that equation.

Yes, spider. They have a slight torque advantage, but sport bikes weigh HALF as much as that detroit pig.

and you have no idea what kind of bikes i have ridden child. a stroker motor has more low end but jap bikes have top end. by the way the bike in the video is 93 ci (1524cc) stoker. care to comment back? SPIDER

An '05 Dyna Lowrider will not jump off the line faster than a 600 or top out over 140MPH. A 600CC sport bike will do both of those things. If you leave a sportbike in the dust, it's because the rider is unskilled.

Harley's power is a myth...

A brand new 96ci harley puts out 66 friggin horsepower. As a contrast a Yamaha FZ6 puts out 96HP.

Harley's have a different gearing ratio than jap bikes but they are still high performance Bikes. "Built on Power". Perhaps A Jap Crotch rocket "might" out perform this 70's Harley. However, I have an 05 Dyna Lowrider with a 1450CC Fuel Injected engine that would leave a 600CC jap bike in the dust.. Maybe not off the start but in the long run, you bet.
