A "multi-vocal" interpretation of the classic poem, "Casey At The Bat" (written by Earnest Lawrence Thayer) performed by Craig Crumpton. This video was recorded in 2004, in a single take with no edits or redubs.

  • Nice stuff! You definitely created something here! Great range! Love the Paul Harvey!

  • @jimmeskimen Thanks, Jim! I consider that a very high compliment, coming from an impressionist of your caliber.

  • A glitch caused a comment to be deleted by a user who asked if I did Mayor Quimby's voice from 'The Simpsons' in this. No, that was actually an impression of President John F. Kennedy. Dan Castellaneta, who voices Mayor Quimby on "The Simpsons" based the character's voice on JFK, and thus the similarity.

  • Did you do an Ed Sullivan somewhere in there?

  • @im264shirt Not intentionally, but if you heard one in there then...yes, I did. :)

  • @voiceroy I just thought you did at the "leather covered sphere" part. But if not, then who?

  • @im264shirt The "leather-covered sphere" line is my Barney Fife (Don Knotts).
