Its getting so bad now. We just purchased a new house back in August and now we have to face the bad economy. With more people out of work there will be more people out there stealing and trying to make money any way they can so looks like the police force will be hiring more people. Its very scary for those living paycheck to paycheck.
Maybe this is a wake-up call to the public that you must take greater control of your life. This means less debt; living a simpler and more frugal life style. I have zero debt and feel more in control of things. The temptation to borrow and spend is a hard habit to break for most....
Yes, it really is sad, and although I'm hoping that there will eventually be a revolt of some sort (hopefully civilized), it's hard to image how to untangle a socialist knot once we get ourselves into it.
With the recent meltdown of the economy, the Federal Government will be eve more involved in running your life. They bailed out the bankers that held the mortgages of the working slobs who can't pay them back and the socialization of our country will continue until the government will be even more involved in our lives...sad....
If this was the 19th century you and your hubby would be working in the fields maybe picking pickles...or if you came from a prominent or wealthy family you may have been a politician, lawyer or banker. Some things never change...but today the working class is has a higher standard of living but most are still wage slaves mortgaged to the ruling class...
