In an attempt to see recently repainted number 7827 'Lydham Manor', jakeyboygen and I made a trip down to the 'Nations Holiday Line' running the 6.5 miles between Paignton Queens Park and Kingswear for Dartmouth. The weather was perfect for the visit but sadly the engine I had wanted to see has been withdrawn for the rest of the 2011 season for maintenance reasons and so the lines other two serviceable steam locos were in action --

| GWR 2-8-0T 5205 'Heavy Freight' tank class number 5239 'Goliath'

The railway were running their high peak ten trains each way timetable, so this allowed for plenty of shots to be taken and the best of these are include in this video.

  • @squareboffin Yeah I heard about that but luckily she was in traffic for me :)

  • Goliath Failed a week earlier, no idea why but it can't have been too bad. They had to bring out the Diesel, I got some good shots though
