We pit Ford's all-new Mustang V-6 against its natural rivals, the Chevy Camaro RS and the Dodge Challenger SE, but we throw a wildcard in to the mix -- the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track. Which one will come out on top?

  • Never thought I would see Brembos on a Hyundai. lol I have the same opinion with this guy. The Hyundai is the best of these cars, but that is only because these are V6 muscle cars. No one goes into a Ford dealership WANTING a V6 Mustang. It sort of goes like this: Buyer-"I want a GT Premium" Seller-"Okay, that will be $40,000" Buyer-"Okay then I will take the V6 Premium instead..." lol

  • @MTSK56 Have you PRICED a V6 genesis? Base price for the 2012 "track" is right over 31,000!!! Your into a base model 400+ horsepower mustang GT at this price, let alone the V6 (not sure you can even option it that high).

Don't get me wrong, H has come a LONG way lately and they make nice cars, but don't you think its a bit unfair to compare a 31,000 dollar V6 to a 22,xxx dollar V6?

This is assuming no price jump in 2013..which is doubtful.

  • 7.5 seconds? That's pathetic!

  • Genesis Coupe ftw bitches

  • @Rare92Mustang face palm lmfao

  • @Tupples1 ^thats whats wrong with America. "I will buy a pos and make it fast." I can make my craftsman lawn mower fast. why? V8 will always be better than V6

  • @NattDogg01 so u tellin me everyone go in wanting a v8.bahahaahahahh yeah fucking right.as new cars is today have the same hp as the v8's back in the day and there lighter then the lame as 8.ill take a 6 0ver a 8 any day with money left over to but a turbo kit.

  • @AdverbAdjective The 2010-2012 V6 Genesis Coupe DOES NOT require premium fuel! Knowledge before mouth open leads to life with little embarassment...

  • This boring motherfucker again?!!!

  • I'm proud to say I was the first dude in Canada to get a Yellow-colored 3.8 Genesis back in February of 2009, and I still love it. Yes, it was a bit pricey, a bit more than it should have been, but the overall feel is worth the extra dough.Having driven two 911s and a Boxster S, I can say without a doubt that the Genesis has nearly-identical handling and feel, which has been mirrored by a few other reviewers who noticed it as well. It simply makes people stop talking, and just stare, transfixed.

  • @testy462 Im not saying a mustang is a bad purchase seeing as I bought one :) I'm just saying it's a pretty fair match up since the point of the comparison is about sports cars with similar engines and performance, not performance per dollar. Also the r-spec has the same performance as the track and is only 26k which is definitely comparable to the v6 mustangs 24k. And yes mustangs probably have the largest aftermarket selection out of any car but there is still plenty of mods for the genesis.

  • @pjbadgersuw26 And just another thought... both the V6 and V8 mustang have a TON of supporting aftermarket mods you can do...and the H doesn't.
