Get ready boys and girls, Big Toe & The Jam are here to help you kick off your shoes and shake out the blues on an utterly grand scale.

Taking a cue from the feel-good vibe of Sly & The Family Stone, vocalist Paul Dunkirk (original member, The Blenders) and drummer Jamie Scheitel (Sacred Chao, Brat Pack Radio) have merged their respective bags of trickery and assembled a 10-piece, technicolor troupe with infectious appeal.
Not just a show but an event-maker perfect for any grand gathering with a palpable pulse, from street fairs and summer festivals to splendid wedding celebrations.

Brass blistering and deep beats thumping, Big Toe & The Jam whip up big band, swing, R&B, funk and soul faves with loosey-goosey, charismatic exuberance. Dunkirk slides deftly between silky-smooth croon and rough-hewn powerhouse, whereas cousin Stephanie shares mic duties with a knockout, steamy style all her own. Scheitel lays out relentlessly rock-steady, dynamic grooves. Horn-section leader Nathan Berry and company have worked up some positively dynamite arrangements, while the remaining cast of exceptionally talented up-and-comers will downright indulge your biological imperative to sweat.

The anticipated classics are all there in ultra-fine form Sinatra, Louis Prima, James Brown, Stevie, Aretha and fresh, hodgepodge spins on the unexpected help elevate the party and bump up the grind. Snazzed-out Beatles cuts. Paul Simon painted with Mariachi-style wild abandon. The Police amped-up enough to do any ska-addled soccer hooligan proud. Peter Gabriel quirk paired with Tower of Power fury. Chaka Khan velvet backed by Blues Brothers grit.

So, step right up. Get on in under the big tent. Youre gonna swing. Youre gonna strut. In fact, youre gonna get downright converted.

Resistance? Futile.
