Either Iron or Mithril can be used for this. If you use mithril, a perfect run (or only one mistake) will get you a divine weapon. You get divine weapons in a set order, so don't bother resetting if it gives you one you don't care about. A not-so-perfect but still good run will get you the level 4 alloy.
