Strip Repair and FUE, which is better? Well Strip Surgery, also known as FUT of FUSS, hair is traditionally harvested from the back of the head using a long, thin donor strip that is subsequently dissected into individual follicular units. As a result, this always leaves a linear "smily face" scar in the back of your head. With FUE individual follicular unit grafts is being removed directly from the back and sides of the scalp, leaving only tiny round scars. Furthermore, FUE causes less bleeding, less post-operative discomfort and requires no sutures.
