  • I got my information from the EPA website about purifying water. I know it's the government but fema and the epa have some real good info.

  • @Christianprepper1 I initially got my info from FEMA as well, but there wasn't definitive answers about using pool shock and what you could expect from it's use. So I decided to do my own research and testing and share it with the community of preppers. If you'll visit my channel you'll see that I have been covering this topic of "Pool Shock" for a little over a year and the experiment over that time has yielded good solid usable information and answered many questions that we preppers had.

  • Great information. I have been wondering about pool shock. Most videos just say buy it...lol. I like the intro and the music in the background. Nice change...

  • @OutWestt1 Just buy it... I know what you mean, that's what spurred this whole video series. Glad I could be of help. Thanks for checking out the vid.

  • So glad you did this video. Thanks

  • Great info ... Thanks!

  • @dspurlock23 It's probably just a terminology issue. I'm sure the powder you are finding will do just fine. Technically a powder should have a simular consistency to baby powder where as granular would have a consistency liken to pure cane sugar. Anyway regardless of what the package classifies, powder or granular it should work the same.

  • @okieprepper Hey I'm having trouble finding the calcium hypochlorite in a granular form. I've found it in a powder just about everywhere, but not sure if this will work or not.

  • @eamonn280958 OKAY! I'll turn it down a little... geesh. :)

  • @dspurlock23 Awesome, that's exactly what I did, paid the "Will Call Fee" and out the door with the tank.
