EMBEDDEDIN.LA main emphasis is collaboration through production and that design + direction = production. They often collaborate with designers, filmmakers, musicians and other artists in the production of their work. They believe that "collaboration is a concept embedded in our history. Designers have a responsibility to change the standards and stereotypes of accepted culture by changing their own roles."
