no, you misunderstand again, i dont mean just a population grow, i mean an economic, geostrategic and cultural rise.. do you know, last year turkey economically grew much more than Indıan and far east countries did. Turkey even over took China. And again last year İstanbul was officially cultural capital of Europe. You can't even imagine how many international events were accomplished. And do you know, Turkey has a very critical location geostrategically

@kurtomur maybe Europe but cities in India and the far east are growing at rates far above that of Instanbul. and the city became the largest and richest city in the world under the Romans.

@paulinotou then it became the capital city of the largest and richest empire of the world in the hands of Turks. today İstabul is rising again, in 25 years it will become the financial and cultural capital of eurasia again. I don't claim it, current progress of İstanbul and current situation of europe says it..

i love turky i love istambul..........i hav also heard that ABU ayub ansari in burried in istambul....this city was finally conquered by muslims under the rule of UTToMOn ruler MOHAMMED 2.......
