Niqab not Nifaaq (part 1) - Sh. Said Rageah

Khutbah addressing the issue of the "Canadian Muslim Congress" urging the Canadian government to ban the Niqab. Please do not be fooled by the name of this organization. Although they may have the word Muslim in their organization but in reality they're working for higher agendas under the name of Islam. An organization using the media to inflict hatred and confusion in the minds of average non-Muslims towards fellow Muslim neighbours.

Toronto (AP) - The "Canadian Muslim Congress" urged the Canadian government Thursday to ban traditional Muslim garments designed to cover a woman's face, saying they are medieval and misogynist symbols of extremism with no basis in Islam.

"Born naked..." that has got to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, no offense. Well excuse me, but were you expecting to come out of your mother's womb with a suit and tie? Or perhaps, a beautiful tiny cute dress? Or many a bikini and thong? Tell me, why dont u walk around naked? Why do you wear jeans or shorts or even swimsuit? Obviously because you have some modesty in you. Well hello! WAKE UP! Muslim women are MORE MODEST than you! So what's your problem?

Hate and murder? Are you even listening to what he is saying? Or did you come here prepared with a stubborn mind unwilling to listen to the other side? This man is simply standing up for his rights in a country that promotes FREEDOM OF CHOICE! What's wrong with being modest? For crying out loud, look at the "Christian" nuns. Compare her modesty to a Muslim woman's modesty. Do you see the double standards?

This sheik is an amazing speaker, mashallah. He spends 4 whole minutes giving a kutba in arabic (i think, sounded like it) in the begining. I listend to many of his lectures and also went to an event he took place in in Birmingham! May Allah have mercy on, his family and all of his eager audiance around the world.
