i remeber seeing this when it was on and always thought it was one of the best covers i'd heard...

if the intention of doing a cover is to take a song and, without wanting to sound too x factor, 'make it your own' then the bluetones have set the standard, truly amazing.. is it available as a b side/ rarity..? does anyone know...

@sohlt the thing with The Bluetones though is that their music is usually upbeat, but their lyrics actually are quite sad. So many times Ive sung along to their songs and burst into tears, and felt silly simply because the music was so upbeat. They can be deceiving that way.

Good musicianship. Pretty good for a cover, but I have a problem with the style. Waterfalls is a sad song and I feel that Bluetones performed it in a very up-beat style that drops some of the meaning in the lyrics. The chords from the keyboard in particular (around 1:55) give that poppy up-beat effect.

Judging from the other comments on this video, my opinion won't be shared, but whatever. Good musicians, not better than original.

agreed, also,talking of 'b' sides,did you ever hear the 'b' side to cut some rug,think it was called castle rock?? what a wicked tune marks voice is just wicked , its a goose pimple song,gutted though as i can't find it anywhere..
