  • FynFlyte - it's not a "serious neurological disorder that requires help" at all. Though everyone is affected differently be each different trait, I have Asperger's as do many of my friends and it's not that bad at all, IMO the good outweighs the bad. I'd hate to be normal because I like being the autistic person I am.

  • Asperger's is not a horrible disease. It has many good sides, and many people in history where believed to have had it. Do some research.

  • @AutismSpeaksV1ds You speak in the same manner I do, the logical and the analytical thought views, far outweigh the "social" problems. we don't have a disorder, we have a condition that leaves us more true to ourselves, than the majority of humanity, based on experience

  • not to sound rude, but that are the good things about having aspergers? I don't mean that in an offensive way, I'm just wondering how it changes your perspective.

  • It's time to listen? Okay I'll listen to myself, because my voice has more reason than yours, Autism Speaks.

    Quote, the Autie "Nevermore."

  • Hey I am 20 and I have Asperger's Syndrone. It's been hard to cope with college, and yes, some people perceive the world differently. :)

  • By normal, I'm talking about neurological (someone without Asperger's or autism).

  • I am happy that you like yourself, I would not have it any other way. But am intrigued by the context of your use of the word 'normal.'

  • I have Asperger's so I don't think you get to tell me how I should feel about it. In fact I don't think Asperger's, or any disability, is "horrible," but I'm just trying to engage with this person about why they don't like the movie Adam.

  • I have done all the research I need to do. I cannot imagine that an organization like AS would claim to diaganose dead people. Everyone who ever invented something did not have Asperger's. If you don't have a disability you don't need a diagnosis.
