Fail. The universe is expanding, if it will "always be there" then what was it's state before it's expansion?

@peterthesongman The human mind is indeed a poor tool - excellent point! However, it is just sharp enough (in conjunction with opposable thumbs of course) to create artificial intelligence that will be able to merge with the biological... and exponentially reach (nearly!) the asymptote of infinite knowledge.

thats fair enough, thanks for answering. wish you well on your journey

I never claimed that my mind specifically or human mind in general is perfect. None the less that is all we have and we have to make the best use of it. I am not going to comment on what you said towards the end, it is too cryptic and apply to various contexts in various ways.

Thankyou for answering, actually the same applies to your arguments, as said. A flower is made of stardust but it still perceives the sun and its light. The thing we are part of is also a part of us, by our own reasoning alone we are lost

But that is all we have, the human mind. Now you could argue that there is the mind of god, which is a better tool. Then I shall remind you that you are using your human mind to come to that conclusion. A mind that you yourself have agreed is a poor tool, because it is the mind of a human being.
I can't believe a smart man like sagan did not know the word God meaning the supreme creator. God is not created, if he is created, he cannot be called God.
That's why i hate it when atheist said faith is dumb, and btw........sagan's agnostic

@INYO121277 If Sagan does not know the meaning of the word God, then how can he be smart?
