The Right Wing Hate Attack machine

You know who they are. They attack you for your opinion. They side with corrupt politicians over their fellow brother and sisters. They post people's address online and put them in danger because their 12 year old son spoke of the benefits of SCHIP. They pretend to be patriots while stifling free speech. They pretend to support the troops yet blindly support those who are getting them killed for lies. History will show them to be very much like a cult. I give you the mean right wing attack machine.

Keith Olbermann interviews the parents of a 12 y/o boy who is the victim of right wing attacks. RIGHT WING BLOG REDSTATE posted a blog saying the family should be publicly hanged!

What is a CULT?
Adherents who become increasingly dependent on the movement for their view on reality;

Important decisions in the lives of the adherents are made by others;

Making sharp distinctions between us and them, divine and satanic, good and evil, etc. that are not open for discussion;

Leader who claim divine authority for their deeds and for their orders to their followers;

Leader and movements who are unequivocally focused on achieving a certain goal.

The organization is willing to place itself above the law. This is probably the most important characteristic.

The leader sets forth ethical guidelines members must follow but from which the leader is exempt

The group is preparing to fight a literal, physical Armageddon against other human beings;

The leader regularly makes public assertions that he or she knows is false and/or the group has a policy of routinely deceiving outsiders.

you know, I think the S chip program is great, I just don't think that that an expansion to "other low income middle class" goes up to 80,000, especially when the median American income today is around 45k. I think when it came down to it, the senate said that it was worth the money, and the house didn't agree to the same extent only because of that fact. I dunno, we throw away so many billions on Iraq anyway, surely the lives of American children are worth 7 Billion dollars, right?

I think ANY Americans life is worth it. There shouldn't even be a price. I agree with your post. Do you see the Right wingers attacking this program? I do, and they claim to be patriots..Far from it. In fact they are the most Un-American people I've ever seen. The only industrialized country in the world without universal health care.

Americans should travel more and talk to people overseas about their health care systems. As long as we think we're know-it-alls on this stuff we'll suffer the consequences, generation after generation. There's nothing wrong with learning from others.

This "business owner" should be outraged at the fact that, if the federal governement didn't take as much money from them through taxes, that they would be able to pay for their own emergencies when they happen, but because we are taxed to high heaven, we're forced to buy insurance policies that drive up the cost of healthcare. Open your eyes America. Big government is the enemy!
