This is a video will show you how to setup your Windows live Hotmail account on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. It isn't as obvious as setting up accounts from some other email providers because there isn't an option for hotmail, you must go to other.

It used to be a lot harder because if you had an address that ends in @live.ca or something other then Hotmail, your device wouldn't automatically connect to it and would ask for all kinds of technical information. This seems to have been improved by a software update. if yours still asks for the information,

The incoming mail server is pop3.live.com, and uses port 995.

The outgoing mail server is smtp.live.com, using port 25. If port 25 has problems, use port 587 for outgoing.

Also be sure to turn on "use SSL" as it will be more secure and there is no reason to turn it off.

This isn't my real account, well it used to be but I never check it. Don't message or spam me there, I never check it. If you would like to contact me please message me on YouTube.

Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the video. Please rate / comment / subscribe. If you have any questions feel free to ask in the comments or message me.
