Here is a collection of (in)famous "black pearls" - operatic disasters and catastrophes. This video does not have any kind of mean intentions. It was made to show that even the great ones make mistakes and for analyzing some fatal mistakes. AN is the Britney Spears of opera. She is thick as a brick, and her singing is abysmal. She is a success made by clever and aggressive marketing.

Oh god, if I hear the justification for average singers that "they are increasing the popularity of the art form (even though they average)" one more time...the same lame lame line is used to justify popera being sung in Idol and that other dumb second rate show on British TV about teaching c grade stars how to sing opera. It is not increasing the poularity of opera because it ISN'T opera. It's people TRYING to sing opera. The acidity towards Netrebko is probably a bit OTT but still, overrated!!

ok this mistakes were really awful but c'mon they are human beings and they make mistakes, they still are great singers and admire them anyway...

the thing is that voice sometimes is not there. . . there are so many things that can screw a performance
