This is a good point lou, but you probably already know this. Fall usually sees a drop in almost all markets as people see winter coming and pessimism sets in and people sell.
Just a natural occurrence based on human psychology.

Employment change and unemployment rate will determine the market tomorrow. The gov can't buy and push up the market with this volume of selling, if the news is bad. So far this week it has been.
I would watch unemployment really carefully.. If it is 10.0 or higher look for a big spike down as now we see "double digit" unemployment This has potential to be big.

Not sure about silver as its in a corrective wave down to around 14.75 imo before bulls show their hand.
I would be careful of open position over the weekend. One of these clowns at the G7 meetings could say something idiotic and cause a big gap on Monday or Sunday if you trade forex as I do.
Geitner apparently has something to say on Saturday as well.
Bernanke is hilarious isn't he? How can someone talk so long and say absolutely nothing about anything.
