US Marines launch major anti-Taliban offensive

US Marines stormed into Taliban territory in southern Afghanistan on Thursday as President Barack Obama's new war strategy swung into action. The US hopes to turn the tide of a stalemated war before an Afghan presidential election in August.

Our civilization is fucked up since the 13 century when the Mongols conquered us.

But before that we where great. We formed one of the largest empires of that time. We drove of the Greeks from Anatolia.
