Second the people who are saying he's pregnant, i mean really are you that stupid. third the people who said negitive comments, you guys just want attention ass holes. So cut the some slack, how would you like it if i said bad things about you and your animal.So all of you shut fuck up and think before you post.

@Riaoku Great post. It's the hardest thing to do to let them go, but the last thing a person wants is to watch a dog that they love soo much suffer. When nothing can be done and a dog is on the verge of suffering, you have to love them enough to let them go, but it hurts more than I can express.

My golden too died in my arms when I carried him to the vet.

I couldn't sleep for weeks . Hope all our dogs goes to heaven and live well .

@LOLItsAFrenzy I am the biggest animal lover on the planet and I'm the first person who is anti-gun especially in regards to hunting, but I do understand there are certain circumstances such as this, that ending the pain is paramount, such as putting a deer down that has been hit on the highway, etc. No animal should ever have to linger in excruitating pain to die when the situation is hopeless and vet care is not close by.

@ceterababe I'm glad you think that it was the right thing to do at the time. Alot of people get mad at me and say I shouldn't have shot her, and that I should have taken her to the vet so they could put her down. But the vet was thirty minutes away and she was in a world of pain. It always makes me mad when people say I'm heartless or something for putting her out of her misery. >:/ And it's alright. I'm not that sad about it anymore.. I've convinced myself that she's in doggie heaven. :'D

@LOLItsAFrenzy Under the circumstances, you did the right thing by putting the poor dog down asap and not let it suffer anymore. Even a ride to the vet to put the dog down would have been torture.................My heart goes out to you. Very sad story. Sorry for your loss. In the long run, the happy memories you had with your dog will stand out to make you smile when you think of him.

@ceterababe They might not have had enough money to put him to sleep.. But I agree.. My dog got attacked by a bunch of coyotes, and her insides were spilling out. There was no way she would have lived, even with surgery. So we shot her... It was better than just waiting for her to die. D:
