CBN Channel 8 Orange celebrated its 21st Birthday in 1983 with a special programme highlighting the station's transmissions since it went on air in 1962. General Manager Ian Ridley had a bright outlook for the future. Sadly aggregation took hold and CBN channel 8 ceased to exist in 1989....swallowed by a large network. Most local programming ceased and only a few local staff members remained.
In this last part of the 21st birthday programme there are clips from variety programmes and some segments from the stations numerous outside broadcasts.
