Don't put your mixing station in the corner. Rule of thumb. Get those monitors facing a flat wall and deaden or deflect that wall. If you can, face the monitors down the long way of the room. Your mixes will come out quite a bit better. Good mixing station. Bad placement. Keep it comin!!!!

My studio is a lot different now, I only ever used the mixer for small live gigs never in the studio. I know my speakers should be centered against a flat wall, but I have limited space, I do have a bass trap in the behind the desk, I'm looking for a big place so I can get more set up and I know my room pretty well so I get good mixes.
