only the master knows, but I think he did not get hit, he has 3 seconds time to react so he masters this job easily

might also be the nature of FC-event?? player must place his foot inside 2meters circle when catching the boomerang, then the clock is stopped. So maybe he struggles to get back in the circle so fast that we can hear "aaaaaaargh"
