Philadelphia Fire Department Ladder 258 (spare) and Engine 905 (spare) responding on Washington Ave at 20th St to a building fire that was quickly extinguished thanks to the crew of Deluge 24. Ladder 258 is a 1990 Seagrave 100' TDA serving as Ladder 5 and Engine 905 is a 1991 Seagrave serving as Engine 10

  • @mcrking35 not necessarily. it depends on the driver most of the time. i believe they are supposed to turn off lights and sirens and proceed at a normal speed but most just slow it down.

  • @aaronjmott oh i c. well then why sirens? isnt it lights and sirens or nothing?

  • @mcrking35 The Ladder was responding at "reduced speed" and the Engine had just gotten recalled. The fire was only 2 blocks away.

  • @rrobertsnot5150 I know. The double Seagrave was even better! And I like the other lights better. LEDs do not look right on an older truck.

  • Lucky catch of that Seagrave tiller! A shame they replaced the Aerodynic lightbar
