  • I need to know ! ... Will I be able to fit DDR 2 GAMING RAM in a Mac Pro with DDR 2 Slots ...

  • @john4short No, Mac's are too picky sometimes and not just any DDR2 will work.

I don't understand why CPU-Z says the RAM

frequency is 508.0 MHz....is the RAM not 1066MHz RAM? The same thing happens with my PC, I have about 600MHz RAM and CPU-Z tells me I'm running like high 200MHz to low 300MHz area...

Could someone please clarify as to whats going on here? Cheers :)

    Good vid BTW :):)

  • Hi, the RAM says 508Mhz but it x2 you times it by 2 because its DDR2 = 1016Mhz effectively

  • is DDR3 x3 then?

  • @hord and Lightscribe721, DDR3 is still calculated as x2 , so in CPU-z if you have DDR3 rated at 1600Mhz and you see 800Mhz then its x2 = 1600Mhz effectively.

  • @john4short Do Macs even have DIMM Slots?

    Lol

  • Patriot RAM just ROCKS! I love it <3

  • does it matter what ram you have.

if you just need some extra ram does it matter what ram you buy?

  • Just because it tested and verified. That immediately draws me to buy this brand. I hate having to send it back. Such a pain.

  • @nairb2693

    +1

    but core i5 is GOOD!

  • @AJSokrates

    man Core i7 15%>Phenom II x4 965,

    and core i5 10%>phenom II x4 965,

no point to compare Phenom II x4-920 vs core i7-920
