  • If the screen or TV has an option to adjust screen size it would get rid of the issue you had where it cuts out the bottom of the screen. I ordered my Transformer today and arrives tomorrow.. im excited!

  • @GeekTexInsight You're right I figured this out a while later. The TF actually manipulated the 16:10 image perfect for 16:9 displays. It was actually my TV overs-canning it.A lot of TVs do this. When set to 16:9 they enlarge the 16:9 image about 10% larger than the TV so the edges are missing. They do this for the odd image that may appear letterboxed but it's pointless.Setting to just-scan makes the image of the TF (and any other 16:9 content. Blu-ray etc fit perfectly). Thanks for the comment :)

  • Does the audio still come out of the Tablet when connected to HDTV?

How does it look on a 55-60" HDTV?

  • @Dennis3331000 I don't have a TV that size so I'm not sure but the TF can output a1080p image so it should look perfect on any size TV with a resolution that high.

  • @TapTapTech i have a gaming question, will i be able to play an fps game like modern combat with a mouse and that keyboard dock? please try it for me....

  • @Jer0meLey I am not sure and no longer own the tablet. I know you can use Game Controllers with eh tab such as the PS3 controller. Gaming should work fine over HDMI. I have seen ShadowGun on a TV playing from a tablet. There are videos on YouTube.

  • ...w/ a bluetooth mouse and keyboard for your Asus, you can rid yourself of that huge desktop tower PC! Congrats!

  • @hylogibbon nothing better than a good ol' physical connection

  • @GetPatriotized I like it better than DLNA and MHL.

  • @TapTapTech MKV videos do not play well naively on Tegra 2 devices but Dice Player and MXPlayer play them perfectly on the tablet and through the HDMI :)
